Together, Washington & Greene counties have 30 historic covered bridges (23 in Washington County and 7 in Greene County), each with their own unique stories and history to discover. 9 of those bridges are festival sites during the EQT Washington & Greene Counties' Covered Bridge Festival, held the third weekend in September each year.
