Finding Santa This Holiday Season

Brought to you by the Observer-Reporter and sponsored by many of the wonderful Washington County businesses, the Holiday Market & Downtown Washington Christmas Parade (Friday, December 2) is an evening full of shopping, children's activities and holiday entertainment.

The market is held in the heart of downtown Washington and yes, don’t worry, Santa can be found here! Stop by for a quick meet and greet along with free professional photos with Santa.

Then, after getting to meet Santa make sure to catch a free, magical, horse and carriage ride. You can end the Holiday festivities by shopping and eating from the local business vendors in attendance.

The Observer-Rpeorter’s Holiday Market is not only a free Santa spot, but also the perfect holiday season activity for all ages.

After an incredible turnout last year, the Grinch is returning to Sarris Candies on Sunday, December 4! From 11 am to 3 pm, stop by the store to get your photo taken with the mean green guy himself. While you're there, be sure to stock up on all of your sweet, seasonal faves.

No reservations or bookings are needed. First come, first served.

Celebrate the holidays with Holly Day in California, Friday, December 9! Festive organizations march down the streets of California dressed in their holiday best to celebrate. There will also be a special visit from Santa and his elves too! Families gather afterward to enjoy snacks and activities provided by local students and organizations.

Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus, and he is here at Little Lake Theatre! On Saturday, December 10 from 2-3:30 p.m. visit with Santa and hear stories, sing songs, and tell him your wishes.

Enjoy cookies and drinks and a special surprise from Santa.

This locally owned and operated business holds events for almost every seasonal holiday. For the Christmas season, The Springhouse hosts, “Breakfast with Santa.” This year, the event will be held on three separate days December 10-11, 17.  Don’t get too excited though as this year’s event has sold out completely. Join us Saturday, December 17 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. for the first Hark in the Park holiday event in Washington Park! Family friendly with crafts, smores, music, bingo and even an appearance from St. Nick himself!

This is an open air situation, while we will have heaters and the fireplaces, please dress accordingly!
