WASHINGTON COUNTY COVERED BRIDGES DRIVING TOUR

Washington County is home to 23 historic covered bridges, the second most of any county in Pennsylvania. Each with their own unique history, features and locations, these bridges are both a source of local pride and charming icons of the past. We've broken the bridges down into three tours - the Southwest Tour, the Eastern Tour and the Northwest Tour - all according to abundance and general proximity of each bridge.

To help you plan a single outing or multiple excursions to explore our covered bridges, we've also compiled several printable maps. Scan the QR code on the maps for unique details about each bridge and turn-by-turn directions for each tour. So, pack a lunch, bring a camera and fuel up your vehicle to enjoy this scenic scavenger hunt throughout the beautiful countryside.

*Please know that many of these bridges are located on very narrow roads and in remote settings. Travel at your own risk, load up maps ahead of time and be mindful of areas with little to no cell service.*
