WashCo Insider Previews the Annual Corks & Kegs Festival in Washington County
If you're searching for one of the best beer festivals in Pennsylvania, a Washington County food festival, or a weekend packed with craft beer, wineries, food trucks and live entertainment, this episode of the WashCo Insider has everything you need to know.
This week, Ryanne sits down with returning guests Carole DeAngelo and Nate Mass to preview the annual Corks & Kegs Festival, taking place August 28-30 at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows. Throughout the conversation, the trio shares what makes the event one of Washington County's signature festivals and why visitors travel from multiple states each year to attend.
What began as a small craft beer and wine festival has grown into a regional attraction featuring nearly 100 craft beers, wineries, distilleries, food trucks, artisans and live music. Carole explains that the festival was originally created to showcase the incredible breweries, wineries, distilleries and local businesses that call Washington County home. Over the past decade, it has become a tourism driver that encourages overnight stays while introducing visitors to everything else the county has to offer.
Food lovers will have plenty to explore. More than 20 food trucks are expected to serve everything from barbecue and pizza to seafood, cupcakes, pretzels, lemonade and sweet treats. Nate shares several of his can't-miss favorites while discussing how each vendor brings something unique to the festival.
Of course, the beverages remain the star of the show. Festivalgoers can sample an expansive lineup of craft beer, wine and spirits, including local breweries, seasonal Oktoberfest brews, pumpkin beers and even non-alcoholic options. Sampler tickets make it easy to discover new favorites before purchasing a full pour.
Despite its name, Corks & Kegs is much more than a tasting event. Families are encouraged to attend thanks to the arcade, bowling alley, shopping vendors, live entertainment and spacious festival grounds. The Sunday Classic Car Cruise and evening concert featuring Grand Funk Railroad provide even more reasons to spend the entire weekend in Washington County.
Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast, foodie, music lover or simply looking for one of the best festivals near Pittsburgh, this episode offers an inside look at everything waiting for visitors at the 2026 Corks & Kegs Festival.
