WASHINGTON, PA (OCT 12, 2021) – The Meadows Racetrack & Casino (“The Meadows”) is honered to announce it will be rebranded to “Hollywood Casino at The Meadows” (“HC at The Meadows”) and is being recognized as one of the flagship properties in Penn National Gaming, Inc’s (“Penn National”) portfolio.
On Oct 15th, at 9:00 am, the Hollywood Casino at The Meadows brand will be officially unveiled at the Casino Entrance. The milestone event will be attended by many Washington County leaders followed by a breakfast reception for guests hosted by The Washington County Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Promotion Agency.
Rebranding has been a three-year journey for the property since being purchased by Penn National in 2019, with significant capital investments to improve the amenities and product offerings. Some of the additions and renovations to property include: The Eatery; H Lounge entertainment; casino floor upgrades, and Embers Lounge by the racetrack. The journey will continue with a planned rebranding of the existing sportsbook into the Barstool Sportsbook in the early part of 2022.
The rebranding celebrations kick-off on Oct 15th with the ‘PINK OUT’ event and Family Fun night featuring night horse races, food-trucks, entertainment, special pink-out drinks, and crowd pleaser Corgi dogs races and a check presentation to the American Cancer Society in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The racing apron will also hold the celebration festival on Oct 16th with local bands, food trucks, hourly lucky draws and free merchandise giveaways. There will be fireworks display at the conclusion of the festival at approximately 7:15 pm (depending on weather conditions). The party will continue in H Lounge with a free concert by Cowboy Troy.
HC at The Meadows will be giving away prizes totalling $100,000 in hourly lucky draws on the casino floor, Oct 16th starting at 5:30 pm. The grand prize, a brand new Mercedes Benz, will be drawn at 8:00pm! The rewards and celebration will continue for the remainder of October, featuring more giveaways and lucky draws to keep the celebration going!
