Big Things Happening at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows: Tipsy Cauldron Pop-Up Pub & Starport Arcade

To the witch or wizard it may concern, please consider this your official acceptance to the TIPSY CAULDRON POP-UP PUB, now open Thursdays – Saturdays through December 20 at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows!

Magic users from around the region won’t want to miss this one, and you’ll be pleased to note that while three-headed dogs and mysterious prophecies are notably absent from this limited-time wizarding experience, there’s no reason to worry, as mystical fun, magical music and plenty of enchanting elixirs are sure to fill any gaps you may feel are left by the pop-up’s lack of moving staircases.

With snacks like Mozzerella Bolts, Wizard Wands and Sorcerers’ Reuben Rolls and drinks like the Spellbound Cider, Rotten Pumpkin, Blood Moon Fizz and Brew of the Bonfire Witch all on the menu, you and your wizarding friends and classmates are going to want to come back again and again for multiple adventures. Those daring for more will want to go for the Tipsy Cauldron – a massive shareable cocktail you and your fellow witches can mix at the table in a smoking cauldron. There’s also plenty of live entertainment to keep you occupied in between your studies, with a live DJ spinning all sorts of spellbinding beats on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. all the way until 1 a.m.

If you’re not sure which day to come, we think you’re going to want to be at the Tipsy Cauldron for Costumes & Cocktails (October 25) and the Sip and Sparkle Bash (December 6). These magical costume parties will challenge you and your friends to being the best dressed wizards ad witches of the night, with a total of $1,000 in prize money on the line both nights for the best costume.

While the Tipsy Cauldron Pop-Up Pub is limited-time, Starport Arcade is here to stay. Having transformed the downstairs area of the casino into an all-in-one playground for both kids and adults alike, Starport Arcade will have you challenging all your friends to a round (or multiple re-matches, most likely) at any one of its both vintage and modern pinball machines or arcade games. The best part? All the games are 100% cashless, instead using an app to load credits through, so don’t worry about searching frantically for quarters.

In addition to the arcade, Starport has also taken over the bowling alley, with a new revamped menu on deck for the arcade and a private party area.

Heads up, parents: Starport Arcade welcomes players of all ages up until 9pm, after which the arcade and bowling area are 21+ only. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and those under 21 are only allowed downstairs and not in the upstairs casino area. Parents may not leave their children unaccompanied at the arcade. The easiest way to enter is to park in the South Parking Garage (the first parking garage on the right when entering Hollywood Casino at The Meadows from Racetrack Road), taking the elevator to the 4th floor, walking down the hallway to the entrance and taking the escalator downstairs. You will never enter the casino floor this way, so it's the best entrance if you have multiples under 21 in your party.
