Two things that go hand in hand this holiday season is shopping and holiday joy. Luckily at the Santa Claus is Shopping in Town event in Monongahela you can get the best of both worlds—holiday cheer and holiday shopping.

Check out holiday gifts in the local stores or from vendors, food and treats galore, wine and cider and so much more. Head over to Main Street for entertainment such as live music, bands and a DJ playing all of the classic holiday hits. Fireworks and the lighting of local businesses and a Christmas tree illuminate the sky as locals marvel at the Christmas spirit in Monongahela.

Venture to Town Square in the quaint village of Scenery Hill to find the perfect gifts at their Christmas Market combined with the annual lighting of the town Christmas tree.

Admission is free! You'll find unique arts and crafts from local vendors , hot cider and cocoa, mulled wine, homemade baked goods, a fire pit and children's activities!

Nothing says “Christmas Spirit” like a holiday parade. If you are looking for some holiday cheer then you need to check out the Washington Christmas Parade.

Taking place primarily on Main Street in downtown Washington, this holiday parade is full of fun and excitement the whole family can enjoy. Appearances from local vendors, dance studios and the one and only, Santa Clause, are all present in this holiday parade.

Washington Holiday Market festivities begin at the Community Pavilion in downtown Washington Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at 4 p.m. until the start of the parade at 7:00 p.m. The pavilion will be transformed into a winter wonderland packed full of shopping, food, children’s activities and live holiday entertainment. 

If you are looking to get into the holiday spirit, the Washington Christmas Parade and Holiday Market is the perfect place for you!

Friday & Saturday December 3 & 4, 2021 | Noon - 7:00 PM

A great place to spread holiday cheer and make everlasting memories is at the Canonsburg Old Fashioned Christmas event taking place on the first weekend of December.

Enjoy walking through the town of Canonsburg that has been completely transformed into a winter wonderland straight out of your favorite holiday movie. Check out the opening night Christmas parade and Christmas tree light up, photos with St. Nicholas, facepainting and holiday themed games in the kids corner. Continuing through this event you can check out one of the many vendors treats, snacks, goodies and holiday gifts.
