Adventure is sprouting again in Scenery Hill, and this time, it’s personal.
Wonsettler Physical Therapy (WPT) invites you to dig deep and get a little dirty at the 4th Annual WPT Farm Games, happening Saturday, July 18, on the scenic hills of the Wonsettler family farm.

The Challenge
Farm Games isn't your typical fitness challenge. Think obstacle course races like Spartan or Tough Mudder, but with a welcoming, down-to-earth spirit. The focus isn't on medals, rankings, or finish times—it's about movement, fun, and shared experiences.
"We created the Farm Games to take the pressure off and bring the joy back to physical activity," says Cliff Wonsettler, physical therapist and owner of WPT. "It's not about being the best. It's about stepping outside your comfort zone and maybe sharing a few laughs through the mud."
Open to all ages and skill levels, the event offers three course options:
- A 1-mile course for kids (under age 16)
- A 1.25-mile beginner course
- A 3-mile advanced course

The Course
Participants will tackle a variety of farm-inspired challenges, including climbing hay bales, swinging sledgehammers into stumps, carrying hay or buckets, crawling, climbing, and even shoveling a bit of mushroom manure. Along the way, you'll splash through creeks, walk or run across pastures, navigate a barn maze, and finish at WPT's clinic.
Because the Farm Games are designed for everyone, each obstacle includes a bypass option and support from volunteers, allowing participants to choose the level of challenge that's right for them. No matter your fitness level or comfort zone, there's a place for you on the course.
"The goal isn't perfection—it's progress," Cliff says. "We want people to feel strong, supported, and surprised by what they're capable of. You can walk the entire course and still have an amazing time."

Beyond the Farm
While the mud, muscles, and movement may draw people in, the true heart of the WPT Farm Games is something deeper: community, connection, and confidence.
Everyone starts together, but each participant completes the course at their own pace and in their own way. Along the route, you'll find encouragement around every corner as participants cheer one another on, share laughs, and celebrate every accomplishment.
"We watch people do things they never thought possible," says Cliff. "And they're not doing it alone—they're surrounded by support from friends, family, and even complete strangers. That's what makes this event so special."
The result is more than an obstacle course—it's a memorable experience that brings people together and reminds them just how much they're capable of achieving.
