Is it even summer without the Washington County Agricultural Fair? As the oldest fair in the entire state (227 years and counting), this fair is an essential celebration of community and the agriculture industry that powers our county.
The week-long schedule is quite literally packed to the brim with both classic fair activities – such as the demolition derby, motocross, and horse and pony pull - and some fun additions to the schedule, like harness racing, hay hauling, milk chugging, stock truck show and more that would take forever for us to list. In addition to all the food, games and rides, the live music schedule is also pretty stacked, with acts like Aaron Margaria, Bon Journey, Ruff Creek and Scott Blasey of The Clarks all set to light up the fairground’s stage.
It's also worth mentioning that the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum also offers a Park-And-Ride service to the fairgrounds. Attendees can park at any of the PTM's 3 park-and-ride lots (1 Electric Way, 1 Museum Rd., or 2800 North Main Street, all in Washington, PA 15301) and purchase tickets for just $5 a person round trip. Children aged 2 and under are free.
The 2025 Washington County Agricultural Fair is August 9-16 at the Washington County Fairgrounds & Expo Center.
