The Whiskey Rebellion Festival, July 12-13, 2024 in downtown Washington, PA, celebrates the heritage and unique character of the region by focusing on the historical significance of the Whiskey Rebellion, a history that is exclusive to western Pennsylvania and primarily Washington County. It's a highly-anticipated community celebration that pays tribute to the past, celebrates the present and looks towards the future.
The festival honors a significant period of America’s post-Revolutionary War early days, shining a national spotlight on the Washington County's role in shaping American history through events like the Whiskey Rebellion. Celebrate history with a modern twist, featuring live music, delicious food, live street theater and historical reenactments, kids' activities, demonstrations, craft vendors, and, of course, plenty of whiskey and other libations.
